Cala Salada is a sheltered cove on Ibiza’s west coast, just north of San Antonio, known for its clear turquoise water, surrounding pine-covered hills, and a more traditional, natural setting. The beach itself is a mix of sand and pebbles, with rocky edges and calm, shallow water, while the neighbouring Cala Saladeta adds a slightly more secluded extension just beyond the headland.
Access is controlled during the summer months, which helps preserve its character but also requires a shuttle or early arrival. The setting draws a mix of locals and visitors, particularly those willing to make a bit more effort to reach it, creating a lively but still relatively authentic atmosphere compared to more commercial beaches.
Favoured for its water clarity and protected feel, it works well for swimming and relaxed beach days in a more scenic environment. The combination of calm water and natural surroundings makes it one of the more visually striking coves on this side of the island.
